What is a BB gun bar?

Lock, Load, and Let Loose

Top Shot is the place to test your aim, challenge your friends, and experience the thrill of high-tech target shooting. No experience? No problem. Our low-recoil BB guns deliver just the right kick, and the games make it easy for anyone to pick up and play.

Every session starts with a safety briefing and a bit of coaching, so first-timers and sharpshooters end up on the same footing — usually laughing at each other.

ClearShot gameplay

Our Signature Games

Six signature games run on our ClearShot system. Every match rewards focus and speed, and every miss is somebody else's bragging rights.

  • Whack A Mole

Shoot the targets as they pop up in random spots for 45 seconds. Fast, frantic, and full of laughter.

  • Bullseye Blitz

Each player gets 10 targets, and the first to clear them wins. A quick test of aim, focus, and speed.

  • Simon Says

Follow the flashing lights and shoot the targets in the same order. Memory, precision, and timing rolled into one.

  • Hostage Rescue

Eliminate the villains while protecting the hostages. Accuracy earns the win — panic leads to hilarious chaos.

  • Dueling

Two players go head-to-head. Every hit sends a target to your rival. The first to finish takes bragging rights.

  • Base Defense

Enemies rush your base from the left. Shoot fast to stop them before they reach you. Each wave speeds up the fun.

Why Top Shot

Safe, social, and seriously competitive — three reasons first-timers end up booking a second round.

  1. The safety is built into the gun

Our patent-pending ClearShot system only lets a gun fire when it is aimed downrange at a target the lane has detected. Point it anywhere else and nothing happens — that is hardware, not a rule you have to remember. Low-powered BB guns, protective eyewear for everyone, and a coach with you before the first round.

  2. Compete against each other, or team up

Six games run on the lanes. Go head-to-head in Dueling, or put the whole group behind one combined score and see how high you can push it. Difficulty is set per player, so a first-timer and someone who shoots every weekend can play the same round and both stand a chance.

  3. It is a bar, not a firing range

Beer, wine, and seltzers from the bar while you play, and you are welcome to bring your own food. It is a night out that happens to involve shooting, rather than a range with a vending machine — and it is a lot quieter than one.

One Building, Two Ways to Play

Top Shot sits inside Top Notch Axe Throwing. Your group can shoot and throw in the same visit, without anybody getting in a car.

That is the reason it works so well for a mixed group. Not everyone takes to a rifle, and not everyone takes to an axe — but almost nobody is bad at both. People find the thing they are good at, then start cheering each other on at the other one.

  • Coaching included

A coach starts every group off — grip, stance, and the release. Most people stick an axe in the board inside a few throws.

  • Throwing stars

Ninja stars, and harder than they look. Lighter than an axe, so the technique is completely different.

  • Throwing cards

Exactly what it sounds like. The hardest of the three, and the one people cannot leave alone once they land one.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is it safe?

Yes. Low-powered BB guns, protective eyewear for everyone, and ClearShot technology that only lets a gun fire when it is aimed downrange at a detected target.

What's a BB gun bar?

A bar with interactive shooting lanes. Drinks and snacks alongside low-powered BB guns and supervised digital targets.

What will I be shooting?

An AR-style rifle and a Colt 1911-style pistol. Both have simulated recoil.

How loud is it?

Far quieter than a firearms range. Lively, but no ear protection needed.

Do the guns have recoil?

A mild simulated kick — enough to feel real, nothing like a live firearm.

How many people fit in a lane?

Up to 9 per lane, with 3 shooting at a time. Your group rotates rather than queues.

What are your hours?

Tue–Thu 5:00–8:30 pm, Fri 5:00–11:30 pm, Sat 12:00–11:30 pm, Sun 12:00–8:00 pm. Closed Monday. Reservations required Mon–Thu and Sun.

How much does it cost?

$35 per person for an hour, or $42 for 1.5 hours.

Do I need target shooting experience?

No. A coach runs a short briefing and a few pointers before you start.

Can I drink alcohol at the BB gun bar?

Yes. Beer, wine, and canned drinks are sold on site. BYOB is no longer permitted. Non-alcoholic options are available. See the drink menu.

Can I bring food?

Yes, along with non-alcoholic drinks — just clean up before you leave. Bandana’s Bar-B-Q catering is available for groups.

What is your address and phone number?
Should I make reservations?

Yes. Space is limited and a reservation is the only way to guarantee your group plays together. Walk-ins are welcome when we have room.

Is there a safety briefing?

Yes. Every group gets one before the first round.

Can I read your waiver?

Yes. Read it before you arrive and check-in is quicker.

Are there age requirements?

Recommended minimum age is 8, at a parent or guardian’s discretion. No experience needed.

Can I bring my own gun?

No. Ours are modified to work with the ClearShot lanes — an outside gun simply will not function.

What is the minimum and maximum group size?

2 to 25 online. Up to 70 when combined with axe throwing next door.

Can I take pictures?

Yes — we encourage it.

Can I book a party at the BB gun bar?

Yes. Up to 25 book online. For 26 or more, use the large group form and a coordinator will call you.

What about parking?

Free parking in front of the entrance and in the nearby plaza lots.

Ready to test your aim?

Sessions start at $35 per person. Space is limited, so reserving online is the only way to guarantee your spot.
